"Those who say they live in God should live their lives as Jesus did" – 1 John 2:6. Jesus' sole focus while on earth was to be obedient to his Father's will; nothing more, nothing less, nothing else. Here at OFM, our desire is to simply follow Jesus' model by living our lives the way Jesus did. Jesus left us a great example of how to practically and successfully live and walk through this life. Our mission is to live each day as much like Jesus as possible, and to help others discover how to do the same.
Mentoring is at the heart of the New Testament. Jesus personally mentored his disciples, Barnabas mentored Paul, Paul mentored Timothy, etc. We cannot do life alone, nor can we live a victorious Christian life. And we were never meant to be alone. We were created with the need and desire for close, personal relationships. We desire to be a community that takes mentoring seriously.
We invest in our children’s ministry to be a safe, fun, and exciting place to come and learn about what it means to have a relationship with Jesus. We firmly believe that every person, regardless of age, can have a deep relationship with Him. We know many families look very different than they did just a few generations ago.
We have more single, blended, and
multi-generational family homes than ever before. Regardless of what your family looks like, we are passionate about ministering and helping you and your children.
The mission of the Free Methodist Church is to make known to all people everywhere God's call to wholeness through forgiveness and holiness in Jesus Christ, and to invite into membership and to equip for ministry all who respond in faith.
