    Our Mission is to Worship God our Father with all our being, in all places, at all times, in Spirit and Truth;

                                   Imitate Jesus in word and deed, ministering to physical & spiritual needs  of  others;

                                    Love sacrificially through the Holy Spirit who empowers us to love as He loves;

                                     Lead others into a saving relationship with Jesus, becoming fully devoted Disciples of Jesus

                                               Growing in grace to ministry & leadership

  • The Vision

    To be a community of Disciples of Jesus making Disciples of Jesus.

    The way that Jesus expressed His Agape love was through mentoring his disciples. And His followers continued to be mentored and mentor others. Barnabas mentored Paul, Paul mentored Timothy, etc. We cannot live a victorious Christian life alone. Created with the need and desire for close, personal relationships, we desire to be a mentoring community to give all people who would join us access to that love.

Children and their families

We invest in our children’s ministry to be a safe, fun, and exciting place to come and learn about what it means to have a relationship with Jesus. We firmly believe that every person, regardless of age, can have a deep relationship with Him.


Our community has more single, blended, and

multi-generational family homes than ever before. Regardless of what your family looks like, we are passionate about ministering and helping you and your children.

  • Robert D. Johnson

    Pastor


    Called to pastoral ministry in 2001, ordained an Elder in the Free Methodist Church in 2010. Served in Evangelism, Men's Ministry, Multi-Media and Small Group Leadership, as well as vocationally as a Worship Leader, Children's Pastor, Youth Pastor, and Senior Pastor. Began serving as the pastor of Oxford FMC on Sept. 12, 2021.


    Married in 1995 to wife Melissa. Three adult children: Jade, Eli and Silas. One granddaughter Tessa.


    Gifted Preacher/Teacher, Singer/Song Writer and Evangelist with a passion for Jesus, the Bible, family and sharing the Gospel with anyone who will listen. Avid reader who enjoys studying church history, apologetics, world religions, philosophy, Christian fiction and Star Wars.

    Office Manager


    My family and I started here at OFM in 2010. My husband, Tim, and I have been married for 20 years and have 2 wonderful children.


    I have thoroughly loved becoming part of the OFM family. It is my privilege to be working here in the office since December of 2013. When I am not here at the Church office, I am in the children's department serving director of the Children's department.

We are Free Methodist

The mission of the Free Methodist Denomination is to make known to all people everywhere God's call to wholeness through forgiveness and holiness in Jesus Christ, and to invite into membership and to equip for ministry all who respond in faith.
